ECIA: Electronic Component Industry Association
ECIA, formerly NEDA (National Electronic Distribution Association), is a not-for-profit trade association representing supplier authorized distributors of electronic components, like Koehlke, and their manufacturer-suppliers, like Koehlke’s Distribution Partners. ECIA is dedicated to enhancing the authorized distributor-manufacturer relationship, while educating engineers, customers and industry contacts on the perils of counterfeit products, and the importance of purchasing from authorized sources. With more than 70 years since their foundation, they are the “Voice of Authorized Distribution” on industry issues for hundreds of companies involved in supplier authorized electronics distribution. ERA: Electronics Representatives Association International
The ERA is an alliance of professional field sales representatives for the electronics industry. The ERA’s mission is to support the outsourced field sales function in the global electronics industry through programs and activities that educate, inform and advocate for professional manufacturers' representatives and the manufacturers they represent. Since 1935, the ERA has worked to promote and protects the outside field sales function through manufacturers’ reps as partners in the marketing process, giving reps a voice. Read more about the ERA.
GIDEP: Government-Industry Data Exchange Program
GIDEP, the Government-Industry Data Exchange Program, is a cooperative effort between government and industry participants, like Koehlke, who seek reduction or elimination of resource expenditures by sharing technical information essential during research, design, development, production and operational phases of the life cycle of systems, facilities and equipment. WHMA: Wiring Harness Manufacturing Association
The WHMA® is a non-profit trade association established in 1993. The WHMA® is the only organization exclusively serving American manufacturers of wiring harnesses, electronic cable assemblies, and cord sets, along with their suppliers and distributors. Through its membership, WHMA® provides the only industry forum where member companies can aggressively solve both their specific problems and address pressing industry problems.
